Six months ago we called Dave Lautt and asked if his feed and equipment business in Harvey was still for sale. Four months ago we agreed to terms and we've now spent the past 120 days working on financing, developing a business brand (Maddock Ranch Supply), setting up a website, getting moved into the space, and basically a thousand other tasks associated with starting a new business.
Talk about a whirlwind. It's a lot of work and a lot of stress, but it's also a lot of fun. We are confident that customers are gonna like what we are doing and where we are going.
So where are we going?
Lautt's Feed has been a trusted source of livestock equipment and supplies in the community of Harvey and the surrounding area for over four decades. We are committed to staying true to that tradition of service and respect and we will continue to carry the brands that you know and trust. Names like Gallagher, Ritchie, Stur-D, Hi-Hog, and Hubbard/Crystalyx along with a complete line of animal health supplies. You will always be able to find these products at Maddock Ranch Supply.
That said, we will also be bringing to Harvey some of the brands that we've been using on our operation across the years. Rio Nutrition, Redmond Salt, and Timeless and Speedrite Fencing products will also be available and we look forward to introducing these incredible products to our customers.

We are very excited to introduce http://www.maddockranchsupply.com where you will be able to see all of our products and prices and place orders for pick-up or delivery. We are still working on some bugs in the system, but the site will be active very soon so be sure to check it regularly. Is it really February?
It seems like Mother Nature has lost her mind. We know this warm weather won't last but we've sure enjoyed it while it has (although I think I've forgotten what the sun looks like). As temperatures start to return to normal, please keep MRS in mind for all of your calving supplies and feed and mineral needs. We carry everything you need to keep your calves healthy and their momma's fed well and milking. Pregnancy rate is highly correlated with pre-calving nutrition, so please give us a call to talk about how we can help you have more bred cows and more live calves to sell next fall.
