Travis Elected Vice-Chair of the NCBA Federation Division

Maddock, ND – Maddock Ranch is proud to announce that Travis Maddock has been elected Vice-Chair of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Federation Division. In this leadership role, Travis will work alongside Chair Dr. Nancy Jackson of Mississippi and the Federation of State Beef Councils’ board of directors to advance the work of the Beef Checkoff Program, which promotes beef demand and funds critical research into the value, safety, and healthfulness of beef.

As Vice-Chair, Travis will also serve on the Beef Promotion Operating Committee, a 20-member panel responsible for crafting the 2025-2026 budget for the Beef Checkoff.

"The Beef Checkoff is an essential tool that helps connect beef producers with consumers and highlight the nutritional, environmental, and economic value of beef," said Travis. "During my tenure, I aim to strengthen that connection so consumers can feel confident that beef is not only delicious and safe but also a sustainable and nutritious choice for their families."

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is the nation’s largest beef cattle trade association, representing over 25,000 producer members. The NCBA works to promote beef demand domestically and internationally, while also advocating for industry policies that support cattle ranchers.

Travis is passionate about ensuring that consumers understand the real benefits of beef. "Beef is the only true ‘superfood,’ no matter what the kale industry says," he added. "It’s important that we continue engaging with consumers—the people who ultimately support our farms and ranches—to share the science-backed benefits of beef in a healthy diet and its positive impact on the environment."

Maddock Ranch congratulates Travis Maddock on this significant achievement and looks forward to his leadership in advancing the beef industry.
