Made of durable, plastic nylon, this calf weaner is more comfortable for livestock. Controlling calf suckling, it is effective and economical. Nose piece is adjustable by loosening or tightening the wing nut. Smaller size makes it perfect for younger or smaller calves. Quality Weaner is made of strong polyamide nylon and features a zinc-plated bolt. Green in color. This weaner is specially designed for cattle or cow weaning, which is barbed. These anti-sucking devices impede calves' ability to suck. Virtually unbreakable, reusable plastic. Durable and easy to apply. Suitable for calves up to 18 months of age. Reduces the stress of weaning. Typically leave the weaners in the calves for 4-7 days, then separate the calves from their mothers at the time of removing the weaners.
Insert the calf weaner in the calf’s nose. Adjust by tightening wing nut screw. Leave on calf for 4 to 7 days. Separate calf from mother at the time of weaner removal.
