Neogen Prozap Insectrin 1% Pour On Xtra is a ready-to-use fly control product for livestock animals. Contains 1% permethrin and 1% PBO in a synergized formulation to provide fast relief of lice, horn flies, face flies, horse flies, stable flies, house flies, mosquitoes, and black flies. Ideal for use on beef and dairy cattle (including lactating dairy cows), calves, sheep, and lambs. Use on sheep to control sheep keds and lice. Labeled for use as a premise spray for fly control in and around animal premises, kennels, and outside meat processing plants. Mix with mineral oil for use with backrubbers. The dual combination of ingredients guarantees rapid knockdown and maximum satisfactory results. Apply using pour-on method, mist spray, or backrubber.

  • This product is oil-based and will leave an oily shine on the coat of some animals.
  • It is suggested to combine this product with other pest-control methods as an integrated pest management system.
  • Do not use or store near heat or open flame.

Instructions

Cattle: Apply 1/2 fl oz (15-ml) per 100 lbs bodyweight of animal up to a maximum of 5 fl oz for any one animal. Pour-On: Pour correct dose along back and down face. Ready-to-use spray: Use undiluted in a mist sprayer to apply correct dose. Apply directly to neck, face, back, legs, and ears. Backrubber: Mix 1 pint per gallon of mineral oil. Keep rubbing device charged. Results improved by daily forced use. Sheep pour on:  Apply 1/4 fl oz per 50 lbs of bodyweight. Do not apply more than 3 fl oz for any 1 animal. Pour measured amount along the back line over neck, shoulders, and rump.
