- This is a killed encephalomyelitis (Eastern and Western) and West Nile Virus vaccine. Also has the tetanus toxoid.
- Contains Thimerosal, neomycin and polymyxin B as preservatives.
- Contains the adjuvant MetaStim to improve the immune response.
- Store in the dark between 2 and 7 degrees Celsius or 35 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not allow this product to freeze.
- Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
- In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.
Administer a 1-ml dose intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Administer a second 1-ml dose 3 to 6 weeks after the first dose. Revaccinate annually with a one 1-ml dose.
Early revaccination may be advisable for horses that are faced with an outbreak or with other conditions which might make exposure likely.
